Lesson Learned

I  never realized that when people said to treat others the way you want to be treated you have to follow that. You have understood the fact that everyone is a human being that is going through almost the same problems. Some people are very quick to judge others and that’s what how I was. I never really got to know people and I would quickly judge them by the way they were towards others or the simple fact of how they were dressed. At that moment I thought the way you dressed was everything and that people can judge by that. This thought was so incorrect and to this day I don’t know why I believed this.

 

 

When this happened I realized that judging people so incorrectly. When I was a sophomore in High school I would hang out with this group of girls that I would always hang out with because I went with these girls. I was scared to branch out because people were mean and thought everyone was fake. But then one day in English class I meant Yvette and automatically I became so close to her. She became someone that I told everyone to and she became my very best friend. I wouldn’t really hang out with the group of girls anymore and one of them who use to be my best friend ditched me and went for a guy. I was hurt.

 

I then realized that you can’t judge people because of what you’ve heard, you have to get to know people to figure out their true else. If it wasn’t for everything that went on this year I probably wouldn’t be as close to Yvette as I am, Yvette has helped me so much this year with not only friend problems also boy, family and school problems. Through yvette, I’ve meant so many great people and also have gotten to close to other friendships that I would cherish for the rest of my life. I’ve let go of so many toxic things in my life and I become overall a happy person and overall a most genuine person.

 

So now I try not, to judge the people by their appearance or by what I’ve heard from others. Now I like to branch out and meet new people with different interest and these people are people that I can now trust and tell everything about what’s going on. These people have become so important and now I know or never judge these people again because that’s stupid and everyone deserves to be treated 

equally.
