A Memory In Mexico

Welcome back to my blog, I hope y’all are having a great day. Today I’m going to talk about my trip to Mexico that I took about 3 years and to this day I wanna go back. I’m going back December of 2019, and I’m really excited. I went to Guanajuato, Mexico for about 2 weeks and we went to the city a lot and went on a hike a lot.  I went on this trip with my older brother and my older sister and I went to go see my family there. Guanajuato has become my favorite city in both the United States and Mexico. I definitely look to travel there in the future more often.

 

My favorite memory from there was probably visiting where my parents grow up at. It’s a small pueblo in the middle of nowhere, and it takes about a 1 hour to get there from the city. It was so pretty and wonderful getting away from technology and just spending Christmas and The new year there. When we got to the airport in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico my uncle picked us up and we drove for about an hour and a half to get to the pueblo.

 

We stayed there for 2 weeks and we spent Christmas there and also New Years. We visited my dad’s and mom’s family on both Christmas and New Years. On New years we ended up going to my dad’s brother house were a lot of my cousin where we played games and ate a lot of food. We ended up staying up until passes 4 am. We also went hiking and I almost feel like 10 times. It was a crazy experience but I loved every moment.

 

When we were saying goodbye to everybody it really hurt because I didn’t know when I was going to see them again. I didn’t know what was going to happen. Our flight made us get home until 2am and we had to go to school the next day which was not fun but the trip was definitely worth it.

 

At first, I wasn’t excited because I hadn’t ever me been away from parents for more than a week. I definitely missed them but it was amazing seeing where they came from. It was such an unbelievable experience I loved every bit of it and would definitely wanna go back any time that I could possibly. If you could back and see where your family came from and experience this I would definitely recommend this.
